1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
If there’s anything in my life my heart desires above all it would be this … To love the way God has loved me. It’s painless to love others when they treat us well, but loving them when they hurt us, now that can be a monumental feat. God enlightened my calloused heart and showed me something in Galatians 5:17 that really opened my eyes and helped me to see what had been clouding my vision. ” The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. ”
I have a consequential choice to make. Live by the Spirits Power 💥 which breeds… love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control (Gal 5:22-23) … Or… Live by my sinful nature which procreates… destruction, pride, selfishness, conceit, and greed. Ooh 😲-Ouch-Sting! Hardening our hearts disables and wounds us more than it hurts others. However, when we live by the Spirit keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the Holy Spirit guides us so that we don’t desire to do what our sinful nature craves. When we obey and hold tightly to Gods love we will live in freedom and he will pour out blessings and favor unthinkable. So I challenge you, let’s start seeing people through the eyes of God’s unconditional love ❤️
Break the Chains! Love and live free and fulfilled 🙏🏻✨
