Spicy Lime Guacamole
Tonight I’m not writing about this delicious guacamole however you must give it a try. Heres whats weighing on my heart tonight….
“Nothing can stand against our God. Whatever you face in life, if you will just hold your peace and remain at rest, God promises he will fight your battles. He will make a way even when you don’t see a way.” Wow! How cool is that. Not sure who that’s by. I found that quote on Pinterest, but it sure does shed some light on who’s the guiding director of my life. There’s a freedom in surrender in turning it over to the Lord, what ever it is you’re going through. For me it’s been my health. After eight years of health struggles something recently clicked for me. Although I’m still going through the storm I’m standing firm in it. I’ve come to realize that the struggle is not against flesh and blood, but what the Word of God says ” against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly realms.” That’s the real enemy that’s where the struggle is. So I guess what I’m trying to say is what’s going on with me physically is more than just physical it’s spiritual…. Spiritual Warfare. Once I truly grasped that, my spiritual eyes were opened wide. The devil operates in deceit and deceit can be manipulative, making you weak, vulnerable and susceptible to his crafty schemes. Well Aha!! I don’t think so Mr. devil. Greater is the one living inside of me then he that is in the world, and I stand upon that truth. These deceptive tactics aren’t working on me anymore. I’m holding onto the promises of God, that’s where my peace resides, that’s where my hope is anchored. For his word says ” For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord plans to prosper you and not to harm you plans to give you a hope and a future” … Why wouldn’t he give us that? Not to say the struggles won’t come and go …BUT… Whether we are on this earth or at home with the Lord we cannot be destroyed. We are a member of God’s family , and Gods family has Victory in Christ Jesus! Have you ever thought there’s a reason for your struggle? I’ve never thought of it as punishment. I’ve always thought of it as something Gods using for the good. God is using you, you may not know it yet or maybe you’re starting to sense it. There’s a plan for your life there’s a reason you were put on this earth. There’s a purpose for your struggle. Find it! I love this verse in James chapter 1 verse 2-4 ~ Consider it pure joy my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
Oh what a feeling is that!! ☀️☀️☀️
