Description

Moist gluten free chocolate peanut butter banana bread made with chocolate cake mix. The best easy to make banana bread recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 Box Namaste Foods Chocolate Cake mix
  • 1/3 cup Grapeseed Oil
  • 3 medium Bananas Mashed
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup All Natural Creamy Peanut Butter  ( the stir kind )
  • 1/4 cup Cashew Milk ( Silk Unsweetened )
  • 3 Cage Free Eggs

Topping – We have two options here ( We used straight peanut butter, but I have a peanut butter frosting option you can use as well.  ) :

Option 1

  • All Natural Creamy Peanut butter
  • Chopped Pecans

Option 2

Peanut Butter Frosting
  • 3/4 cup Adams 100% Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup melted dairy free Earth Balance Butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Silk Unsweetened Cashew Milk

Instructions

Makes 2 loaves ( 2 – 8×14 inch pans )

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line loaf pans with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl mix together your cake mix, oil, water, peanut butter, mashed bananas, eggs, and cashew milk until smooth.
  • Pour mixture into loaf pans ( fill about 2/3 of the pan ).
  • Bake approximately 30 to 40 minutes until completely cooked through.
  • Once done remove from oven to cool.

Topping:

Option 1

  • Once cooled spread your creamy peanut butter over the top and of each loaf.
  • Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Option 2

Peanut Butter Frosting
  • In a medium bowl mix together peanut butter, vanilla, and melted butter.
  • Add in powdered sugar and cashew milk alternating while stirring. ( add in more cashew milk teaspoon at a time if needed. )
  • Once completely mixed, spread frosting on top of your bread and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Enjoy 🙂
