Description
Incredibly easy to make plus super delicious Apple Pie Donuts. These little breakfast delights are grain-free, dairy-free, and are filled with spiced apple pie flavor.

- 1– 1/2 cup Bob’s Paleo Baking Flour
- 1 tsp. Hain Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Apple Pie Spice
- 1 egg at room temp.
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup Apple Filling – diced up into small chunks ( Lucky Leaf Brand is gluten-free )
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cashew milk
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted Earth Balance Butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees and lightly grease donut pan.
- In a large bowl add flour, baking powder, spices, and sugar. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mix and add egg, milk, and apple filling. Stir and combine together, batter will be thick.
- Scoop batter into donut pan and bake for 15 to 16 minutes until done. Oven temps may vary.
- Let cool.
- While donuts are cooling melt your butter in a small bowl and set aside.
- In another bowl combine cinnamon and sugar.
- Once donuts are done cooling, lightly brush donuts with butter and press into cinnamon and sugar mixture to coat.
