Description

Incredibly delicious Gluten-Free Bagels. Your one stop shop for the best gluten-free bagels around!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups Pamela’s Gluten Free Bread Mix
  • 1 tsp. Baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. ACV
  • 1/2 tsp. blackstrap molasses
  • Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 3/4 cup warm water at least 125 degrees
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp. instant yeast

Egg Wash ( optional )

  1. 1 egg
  2. 1 tsp. water

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl mix together sugar and warm water, add yeast and mix again. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and mix well.
  4. Make a well in the center and add olive oil, yeast mixture, ACV, and mix together until dough starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
  5. Lightly grease hands with oil, and use a 1/3 cup to scoop batter into your hands. Roll and pat dough into desired shape. Use your index finger to push a hole through the center of the bagel. Place on baking sheet and let rest for 20 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  7. While bagels are resting boil water in a large stock pan- approximately 8 to 9 cups.
  8. Add molasses to boiling water.
  9. Using a slotted spoon carefully add 2 bagels to boiling water. Let boil for one minute. Remove from water and repeat process with remaining bagels.
  10. Mix egg and 1 tsp. water in a small bowl. Brush egg wash on each bagel and sprinkle with Everything Bagel Seasoning.
  11. Place bagels in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  12. Remove from oven and let cool.
  13. Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to oil your hands before handling the dough, it makes it SO much easier to roll and shape.
