Chocolate Cake Donuts
- 1 1/4 cup finely ground Almond Flour ( I used Bob’s Red Mill )
- 1/4 cup tapioca starch
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp. espresso powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cashew milk
- 2 cage free eggs
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp. ACV ( apple cider vinegar )
Chocolate Glaze
- 1 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate chips ( dairy free )
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
Instructions
Chocolate Cake Donuts
- Â Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease donut pan.
- In a large bowl add almond flour, coconut flour, tapioca starch, cocoa, espresso powder, sugar, and baking soda.
- Mix well.
- Make a well in the center of the flour mix and add eggs, milk, olive oil, and ACV.
- Mix batter together until smooth and no clumps.
- Scoop batter into greased donut pan.
- Bake for approximately 16 minutes. ( oven temperatures may vary )
Chocolate Glaze
- In a medium microwave safe bowl add dark chocolate chips and 1 tbsp. coconut oil. Microwave for 20 second intervals stirring between each time.
- Once completely melted and smooth, dip each cooled* donut into chocolate glaze and top with sprinkles.
- Let set… and then enjoy! 🙂
