Double Chocolate Brownie Flax Bites

 

Psalm 63

Oh God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

They who seek my life will be destroyed; they will go down to the depths of the earth. They will be given over to the sword  and become food for Jackals.

But the king will rejoice in God; all who swear by God’s name will praise him, while the mouth of liars will be silenced.

Ingredients
  • 1 cups dates pitted
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 cups chocolate chunks 'Enjoy' Life brand
  • 1/2 cup flaxseed
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp Agave Nectar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
Topping
  • 1/2 cup walnuts crushed
Servings: bites
Instructions
  1. Take your dates and put them in a bowl of warm water for 5-8 minutes. Let soak until softened. Next drain your dates and put them into your food processor along with all the other remaining ingredients. Pulse on high for a few minutes until completely blended ( mixture should have a sand like texture ). Remove the blade and out the mixture into freezer for about 10 -15 minutes to cool down. Once cooled remove from freezer and form and roll into bite size balls. ( I used a cookie scoop to get the perfect size )Then roll your balls into crushed walnuts. Enjoy 🙂
