Cranberry Margarita

Kick off the the New Year with this sweet and sour Cranberry Margarita.  A tart and sweet Cranberry spin on your classic Margarita.

Happy New Year Friends! Out with the old and in with this new delicious Cranberry Margarita!

Sip Sip Hooray! This wintery cocktail comes together with the sweet tartness of cranberries, earthy smooth tequila, warm and fruity grand marnier, a hint of fresh squeezed lime juice, and livened up with the natural light sweet taste of agave nectar. Incredibly easy to make, super refreshing, and sure to steal a few hearts. Line the rim with salt or sugar, then garnish with a lime wedge and candied cranberries for a lovely touch.

This Cranberry Margarita turns classic sour into a sweet tart surprise that can be enjoyed anytime of the year. Muy Bonita Margarita Senorita!

Ingredients To Make This Cranberry Margarita

  • pure unsweetened cranberry juice
  • fresh lime
  • canned Woodstock jellied cranberry
  • Tres Agaves Agave Nectar
  • blanco tequila
  • grand marnier

How To Make This Tequila Cocktail

Step 1. In a medium saucepan stir together cranberry juice, lime juice, jellied cranberry, and agave nectar on medium heat. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 2. Remove from heat and let cool for 20 minutes. Once cooled add cranberry mixture, tequila, and grand marnier into a cocktail shaker with a built in strainer. ( If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, you need to make sure you use a strainer to strain the liquid after mixing. )

Step 3. Shake vigorously until well combined.

Step 4. Rim a 10 oz. margarita glass with salt, and add crushed ice.

Step 5. Pour Cranberry Margarita into your prepared glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh cranberries. Enjoy!

Description

Super refreshing Cranberry Margarita. Sweet and tangy and simple to make from scratch. An amazing party cocktail!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup pure unsweetened cranberry juice
