Jalapeno Pepper Jack Scones

Jalapeno Pepper Jack Scones

These grain-free savory Jalapeno Pepper Jack Scones have become our new weakness lately. I have always been a sweet scone fan but recently salty n’ spice have been my fixation.

My husband loves to eat them for breakfast with his coffee. You can also enjoy them for brunch, a snack, or even served as a side with dinner. Just serve them with a little warm butter on top and you may catch a little taste of heaven.

Last week I made chili for dinner and served these as a side with it. MYyyy goodness let me tell you- I think we ate one too many scones and were too full to finish the chili. So just to cue you in … be prepared – ha!

These Jalapeno cheese scones require very minimal effort to make. Start to finish in less than 40 minutes.

Sticks And Scones

If you’ve never been introduced to savory scones let me give you the quick ” Natalie ” run down of what you can expect.

Scones are not biscuits, although they do tend to have some similarities. Biscuits are more fluffy and flaky whereas scones are typically more drier with a crumbly texture.

About Me

A passionate gluten-free and dairy-free food blogger with a fierce love for baking! I’ve been a food blogger for over 5 years now and I adore it. My gluten-free and dairy-free journey began about 9 years ago. After going through some really difficult health obstacles I found out I was sensitive to gluten and dairy. Initially it was very tough. I had no clue what I could eat, and I mourned my regular diet like it was the death of me.
