Chocolate Cinnamon Banana Bread
Turning heads with this Chocolate Cinnamon Banana Bread! This easy gluten free chocolate banana bread is incredibly moist, and tender. A chocolate lovers dream come true! You can enjoy this chocolate banana bread for a delicious simple breakfast, snack, or treat. We decided to go a healthier approach with this recipe and use coconut sugar instead of the conventional way. I have been working out more with weights and trying to cut back on my sugar intake. And well as you can imagine being a food blogger and trying to dial in a diet is tricky business. So this allows me to somewhat have my cake and eat it to sort of speak haha! I know you can appreciate that 😉
Dairy Free Banana Bread
Not only is this recipe gluten free but it’s also a dairy free banana bread recipe as well. We try to do dairy free in 80% or more of our recipes. In this gluten free chocolate banana bread recipe we used grapeseed oil instead of butter. You will notice that grapeseed oil is a recipe staple for us. It’s very neutral in flavor and makes the most tender baked goods. Truly a recipe winner!
Cinnamon Crumble Topping
This healthy moist banana bread is topped with a delicious Cinnamon Crumble Topping using nothing but gluten free flour, cinnamon, dairy free butter, and coconut sugar. The crumble is not too overpowering, it’s light, fluffy, with a slight crisp. Better yet, it’s healthy with no refined sugars and doesn’t sacrifice on flavor. It adds a nice little tasty touch to this delicious Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe.

Tips For Making the BEST Gluten Free Chocolate Banana Bread
- When measuring your flour make sure your not scooping directly from the bag. This can cause inaccurate measurements and your recipe may not turn out. Use a spoon to scoop the flour from the bag to the measuring cup and level it off with the back end of a knife.
- Make sure to break up coconut sugar clumps before measuring.
- Make sure your Cashew Milk is Unsweetened. I use this brand.
- DON’T let your batter sit for too long. Pour into the pan as soon as possible and bake.
