Blackberry Mojito

Blackberry Mint Mojito

Relax and refresh with this delicious Blackberry Mint Mojito. I LOVE mojitos and who needs summer to enjoy them?! These babies are year round for me. Blackberries are ALWAYS stocked in my fridge. I eat them mostly every day, whether it’s by the handful or in my yogurt, or like here in my drink 😉

When I was daydreaming of a delicious cocktail to make – no doubt I went to the fridge and grabbed the blackberries.

This blackberry mint mojito is the perfect cocktail your guests are sure to love. Filled with sweet and tart blackberries, fresh mint, zesty mouth-puckering lime, a dash of lemon, and topped with effervescent seltzer. A dreamy match made in heaven!

Kick up your feet and relax with this delicious blackberry mojito!

Naturally Sweetened Option

We have given you two options to sweeten your blackberry mint mojito. You can go with straight up sugar, or with the honey simple syrup for a naturally sweetened blackberry mojito. The great thing about the honey simple syrup is that it takes little to no time to make and you feel a little less sinful! I’m not gonna lie though, I went for the sugar – it’s my favorite 😉

Ingredients To Make Blackberry Mojito Recipe

  • 2 oz. Bicardi White Rum
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 8 blackberries
  • 8 mint leaves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup seltzer water
  • 8 ice cubes

Naturally Sweetened Option

  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tbsp. water

How To Make Blackberry Mojito Recipe

This blackberry mint mojito is so fun to make!

You will start with a tall glass- approximately 13 ounces or so. Measure out one tablespoon of fresh squeezed lime juice, one teaspoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice, and add it to your tall glass. Add in your blackberries, mint, and sugar ( or honey simple syrup ). Muddle all of that together with your muddler.

If you don’t have a muddler I highly suggest you invest in one they are seriously amazing. There is a big difference trying to muddle with a spoon versus using an actual muddler. The good news is they are cheap! The one that I own was under 10 dollars and I bought it at Bed Bath And Beyond.

Okay moving on to the next step. You will now stir and mix in your rum. Add in 8 ice cubes and top with seltzer water. You can use club soda if you like, I just prefer the seltzer water. Garnish with a sprig of mint, a lime wedge, and a blackberry.

Sip and enjoy 😉

My gluten-free and dairy-free journey began about 9 years ago. After going through some really difficult health obstacles I found out I was sensitive to gluten and dairy. Initially it was very tough. I had no clue what I could eat, and I mourned my regular diet like it was the death of me.
