Banana Date Smoothie

Jump start your day with this creamy delicious date smoothie recipe. This smoothie is one my whole family loves. It’s healthy but tastes like dessert, a winning combo! Even your pickiest of eaters will love this one.

The combination of banana, cashew milk, almond butter, cinnamon, dates, hemp hearts, and oats is pure bliss. The best part is when you have that first sip and you get little tiny bites of chewy dates. Oh man talk about mouthwatering!

The perfect breakfast or afternoon snack to keep you feeling full and satisfied!

Fiber Rich Smoothie

This creamy date smoothie recipe is a great way to help toward hitting your daily fiber intake. It has two main sources of fiber, first lets talk bananas.

Bananas are relatively high in fiber and aid in improving digestion. They are also rich in nutrients and help with moderating blood sugar levels, support heart health, and so much more! I love bananas in my oatmeal, yogurt, smoothies, breads, etc.  They are just so versatile it’s great!

Dates are another key component to this recipe, and the healthy benefits of dates are numerous. They are not only high in fiber but they have a number of antioxidants such as flavonoids – which help with inflammation in the body, Carotenoids – which are great for your heart and eyes, and phenolic acid – which is another antioxidant that helps with inflammation and fighting off disease. Dates are also great for bone health and regulating blood sugar.

Dates are very nutritious. I love sneaking them in when I can. They are such a great natural sweetener. I have also used date sugar, and pure date syrup in my recipes at home.

You can also add in some chia seeds for an extra punch of fiber!

Sneaking in those Veggies

This banana and date smoothie recipe is a great way to sneak in those veggies! Kale or Spinach is rather tasteless when added to smoothies and make for a great way to amp up your daily veggie intake.

About Me

A passionate gluten-free and dairy-free food blogger with a fierce love for baking! I’ve been a food blogger for over 5 years now and I adore it. My gluten-free and dairy-free journey began about 9 years ago. After going through some really difficult health obstacles I found out I was sensitive to gluten and dairy. Initially it was very tough. I had no clue what I could eat, and I mourned my regular diet like it was the death of me.
